Parnham Voices is a small chamber choir formed in 2002, the singers coming from a wide area centred on Beaminster, Dorset. We sing all types of music - medieval to modern, sacred and secular - including masses and motets, anthems and folk songs, Victorian pieces and evergreens from the 20s and 30s. Click here for our repertoire list.

During 2017 we performed a series of 'Reformation and Renaissance' concerts featuring music by Marenzio, Lobo and Victoria as well as English composer Thomas Tallis. In September we fielded a soprano and alto ripieno choir at the Octagon, Yeovil, for Armonico's performance of Montiverdi's Vespers. More recently, our Advent concerts at Bridport and Netherbury included a newly commissioned carol from local composer Matthew Coleridge and we were delighted to sing in the Great Hall at Forde Abbey and at Beaminster Museum.

Our 2018 spring concerts - Sing Joyfully! - in Kilmington and Beaminster were very well received and we are now on a summer break. Our next performances are our annual Singing Safari on 1st September in the Wimborne area, and concerts in Kingsbury Episcopi and Sydling St Nicholas in October.

Hear us sing! We're very grateful to sound engineer Mike Hall for recording us in St Martin's Church, Kingsbury Episcopi in May 2016. Click on the icon to listen to some of our favourite repertoire or find us on YouTube.
