Parnham Voices is a small chamber choir formed in 2002, the singers coming from a wide area centred on Beaminster, Dorset. We sing all types of music for unaccompanied voices - medieval to modern, sacred and secular - including masses and motets, anthems and folk songs, Victorian pieces and evergreens from the 20's and 30's. This year we began our spring concert season at Winsham. Palm Sunday saw us in Chard at the Church of the Good Shepherd and in May we made a return visit to Teignmouth for an afternoon concert at St Michael's Church.

Autumn 2011 sees a return to Hawkchurch on 15th October, which will be our Music Director John Mingay's last performance with us. Before then we have our popular singing safari, which this year will take in the churches of Corscombe, Hardington Mandeville, Sutton Bingham and Wraxall.

John Mingay our Musical Director since our first public performances in 2003, is leaving us to pursue other interests and we are delighted to welcome Nigel Edwards who will be taking his place with effect from January 2012.
