Spring 2013:

Parnham Voices is a small chamber choir formed in 2002, the singers coming from a wide area centred on Beaminster, Dorset. We sing all types of music for unaccompanied voices - medieval to modern, sacred and secular - including masses and motets, anthems and folk songs, Victorian pieces and evergreens from the 20's and 30's. Click here for our repertoire list. Rehearsals are underway for our 2013 spring and summer season, which began with a Choral Evensong on Palm Sunday at Milton Abbey. Our 'East to West' journey, with performances featuring six centuries of a capella choral music, began at Hardington Mandeville on 20th April and continued at Beaminster Museum on 11th May. Our next concert is at St Michael & All Angels, Rampisham (7pm, 1st June).In September we launch our autumn season with a singing safari in several smaller churches in the Bride Valley and our first autumn concert will be on 19th October at Sixpenny Handley. We very much enjoyed our 2012 Christmas concerts and more are planned for 2013, in Netherbury and Halstock.
