Lacrmosa not too slow - think cradle song. No crescendo bars 4-7 and observe the rests. Bar 9 entry everyone pianissimo except Basses, who are legato.
Agnus Dei No rall bottom p75, rall in bar 50. Sopranos in bars 45-46, don't sink on the Bs.
Lux Aeterna

February 6 - work on the Mozart
Agnus Dei In a slow 3. Sustain the dotted minims and swell through them. p75 last system, no rall until bar 49.
Lux Aeterna - in 8. Coom zancteess. P79 top system no rall till bar 81.
Hostias Quam olim Abrahae & Confutatis - more note bashing the fugues.

January 23 - Sing through Te Deum.
No 3 Te aeternum Patrem. This is our first entry - at bar 84. First section is in 2, then we have a new upbeat into bar 98 at Tibi omnes Angeli, which is faster. Soloists bars 108-149.
No 4 Pleni sunt caeli. We come in at bar 168, in 2. Soloists bars 221-230. Our next entry is at bar 232 te Martyrum.
No 5 Te per orbem - soloists.
No 6 Tu devicto - Our entry is at bar 327 (altos), in 3/4.
Nos 7-8 Judex crederis & Te ergo - soloists.
No 9 Aeterna fac - our entry at bar 431, in 2. Soloists bars 450-458. Tutti again at bar 459 Et rege eos. Time signature change at bar 471 to 3/4. Soloists bar 480-488. Tuttti entry at bar 489 Et laudamus. Soloists bars 514-522. Tutti entry at bar 523, in 2 (men) et in saeculum saeculi.

January 16 - Taking apart Mozart Requiem.
Introitus - pp 1-2, warm sound. Bar 15 smile! P.4 - consonants: Ad te, caro, veniet. Bar 46 is tempo.
Kyrie - Two motifs, one for Kyrie eleison, another for Christe eleison. W'll have an upbeat into the Adagio at bar 98.
Dies irae - Bars 46-47 swell into the middle of each phrase. See also notes from Jan 9th.
Domine Jesu - Consonants in 'ne absorbeat...' phrase need lots of mouth movement. At bar 65, poco meno mosso. No rall in bars 75-76. Rall at bar 77.

January 9 - Sing through Mozart Requiem.
Introitus - in 8. Bars 43-44 resoluto. No rit. until 3rd beat of bar 47.
Kyrie - in 4.
Dies irae - tenuto irae and illa each time. Bar 9 quieter (mf) except tenors. Bar 31 entry is mezzo piano. Bars 42-44 dies is fp (sfz) each time.
Rex tremendae - in 8. All breathe after 'tis' in bar 9.
Lacrimosa - in 4. bar 9 entry is very quiet. Bars 15-16 no breath. Breathe after deus then not until before Domine.
Hostias - Watch the long phrasing. Aim for domine bar 6, memoriam bar 17. No breath bars 46-53 (stagger breathing).
Agnus Dei - crescendo bars 48-49.
