In June each year, gardens in Netherbury, Dorset are open to visitors to raise funds for the parish church. Netherbury's gardeners enjoy a variety of soils and aspects and there is a garden style to inspire every visitor, ranging from the grand to the gloriously wild - some open under the National Gardens Scheme while others are small and private. The admission ticket covers all the gardens for the whole weekend - under 12s can visit the gardens free of charge. Eighteen or so gardens open on either or both days - and there are be home-cooked lunches in the Village Hall, cakes and cream teas, and plant and produce stalls. Below are photographs of the Mill House walled garden to whet your appetite.
